As you have probably already noticed, the wire & tube 2020 trade fair has unfortunately been postponed due to the corona virus.
The new date is from December 7th to 11th, 2020.

New versions of the Splitting Cutter SC and SC-PE
From our product area “sample preparation and material testing” we would like to present the new versions of our standard-conform sample cutting devices for thermal elongation and tensile testing, the Splitting Cutters SC and SC-PE.
The newest development of the Splitting Cutter SC enables a much easier and more precise adjustment of the cutting thickness with only one setting. A new sample insertion table now allows inserting the material into the rollers easily and parallel and with a new transmission, the required strength is reduced enormously to a minimum.
In the course of optimizing the SC, the VisioCablePro® team also improved the Splitting Cutter SC-PE, which is suitable for slicing extremely hard material strips from complete medium voltage cables. A larger traversing distance allows slicing longer samples for various global standards, e.g. UL-62 or ASTM-412, and the new transmission allows the cut to be faster. For additional operating security, the complete working area has been enclosed by a cover.
